| The City of Enterprise received FY 2004 CDBG Community Enhancement Fund assistance to be utilized with local cash outlays to construct 5,000sf of floor space to be located within the 25,000sf Enterprise Community/Senior Citizen Center to be constructed within the corporate limits of Enterprise, Alabama. The construction of the $2.5 million 25,000sf Enterprise Community/Senior Citizen Center of which 5,000sf of floor space will be publicly dedicated for the exclusive use by the Enterprise Senior Citizen program will allow the Senior Citizen Program to grow as this facility provides ample space to accommodate growth. There will be ample parking at this facility and its location easily accessible by senior citizen participants. The total cost associated with the construction of the 5,000sf Senior Center floor space in this facility is $500,000 with $250,000 being CDBG assistance and the remaining $250,000 being injected by the City. The total grant amount is $250,000 with a local match of $2,250,000.00. |
