The following is a list of construction projects where inspections are required. If you have additional concerns or questions, please 348-2671 to speak with someone in the Engineering Department.
A. Residential (house or accessory building)

____ 2. Plumbing under slab (before slab preparation)
____ 3. Slab (before pour)
____ 4. Framing (before insulation/dry wall)
____ 5. Rough electrical (same as # 4)
____ 6. Rough plumbing (same as # 4)
____ 7. Rough mechanical (same as # 4)
____ 8. Electrical service (just prior to final)
____ 9. Sewer (hook up to sewer lines)
___ 10. Final plumbing (prior to occupation)
___ 11. Final electrical (same as # 10)
___ 12. Final mechanical (same as # 10)
B. Service Upgrade or Repair
___ 1. Electrical (prior to hook up by utility company)
C. Commercial (non-residential construction)
____ 1. Footing/foundation pads (prior to pour)
____ 2. Plumbing under slab (before slab pour)
____ 3. Slab (before pour)
____ 4. Framing (prior to insulation/dry wall)
____ 5. Rough plumbing in wall (same as # 4)

____ 7. Ceiling inspection (prior to insulation/dry wall installation-
includes rough plumbing, electrical, and mechanical)
____ 8. Electrical service (prior to final)
____ 9. Sewer (same as # 8)
___ 10. Final plumbing (prior to occupation)
___ 11. Final electrical (same as # 10)
___ 12. Final mechanical (same as # 10)
___ 13. Final inspection (same as # 10-performed by fire chief and code
enforcer)
D. Swimming Pools
____ 1. Grounding/bonding (prior to concrete)
____ 2. Rough wiring (conduit run)
____ 3. Final electrical (when complete)
____ 4. Fence inspection (within one month of completion)
E. Other types of structures
