Durden Outdoor Advertising, a chamber member since 1995, has joined with the chamber to promote shopping locally. Durden has donated space on their new digital billboard at the intersection of highway 27 north and the Boll Weevil Circle including a message encouraging motorists to buy local goods and services whenever possible. The new, state-of-the-art digital display is located on the intersection of highway 27 north and the Boll Weevil Circle with the highest traffic count in the area.
The eye-catching ad serves as a reminder that shopping locally not only supports local businesses and companies, but also Enterprise schools, police, fire, and other city services through local sales taxes. Buying locally also helps keep and grow jobs.
Another community pride campaign called “Enterprise Loves” uses photos of local citizens to boost community spirit and to honor those lives lost during the 2007 tornado. Durden also uses their digital displays to flash Amber alert messages to locate missing children.
