The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce participated in the Alabama Advantage “Living in Alabama Communities” Expo in Montgomery during the week of July 16-20^th. 

     Visitors to the Alabama State Capitol were welcomed with a full-color display complete with a full size replica of the world famous Boll Weevil Monument.  The display was placed directly inside the main entrance of the venue.

     In the photo to the right, Beth Carnley of Fort Deposit  is shown admiring the Enterprise exhibit. Carnley was accompanied by a group from Texas who planned to visit Enterprise while in Alabama. “I was just telling them about the Boll Weevil monument, and we come in here and see a likeness of it,” Carnley said.

     The expo is designed to provide visitors, retirees and other potential residents with information about Alabama. About two dozen Alabama cities, counties and communities participated in the twice annual event.
